Jennifer Haroon has joined Greylock as an Executive in Residence, and I’m thrilled to have her with us. Her experience will be of tremendous value to the existing entrepreneurs in Greylock’s transportation and mobility portfolio, and she’ll be instrumental as we partner with new entrepreneurs in the mobility space. Jennifer is also excited to dig in with the entrepreneurs we back focused on SaaS, productivity and the future of work.
Jennifer has been a friend of Greylock’s for quite some time. I got to know Jennifer while she was COO & CFO at Nauto, a Greylock portfolio company. I was immediately struck by her warmth and personability. In my role as a board director at Nauto, I witnessed Jennifer’s knowledge of, and passion for, the transportation industry. She’s also incredibly strategic while also focusing on execution, and is able to tackle any problem thrown her way.
Jennifer is an experienced operator, executive and Board member, spending over a decade helping teams at top technology companies scale. Most recently, Jennifer was Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer at Nauto, the only real-time AI-powered, driver behavior learning platform to predict, actively prevent and reduce high-risk events in the mobility ecosystem. She was responsible for teams as diverse as finance, data analytics, business operations, people and talent, customer support and installation, international sales, business development and PR and communications.
Prior to Nauto, she was the Head of Business Operations for Waymo (formerly the Google Self-driving Car Project), focusing on strategy and business development. She also spent 6 years at Google. She was part of the team that developed and launched CSquared, a wholesale metro fiber optic network business in Sub-Saharan Africa. She also worked on many of Google’s early health-related initiatives including Google Flu Trends and the Flu Vaccine Finder. Jennifer also was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group and an Equity Research Associate at Thomas Weisel Partners. Jennifer is also a Board Member at Wheels, Inc, a fleet management company and Steering Committee Member for Women in Autonomy.
