Greylock partnered with Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia, and Nathan Blecharczyk at the Series A with the conviction that a vast, untapped inventory of space worldwide was waiting to be unlocked. Today, Airbnb has welcomed more than 1.5 billion guest arrivals across 220 countries, and is one of the most recognized brands in the world.

Jason Citron set out to build a gaming company in 2012, but he and his team grew increasingly frustrated by the communication tools available to gamers - products that were a decade old and out of step with how social gaming had become. In 2015, they pivoted and launched Discord. Greylock led the first round of funding after the team shifted focus to this product. Today, Discord has more than 200 million monthly active users and has grown far beyond gaming into one of the largest communication platforms in the world.
