We’re excited to welcome Mor Chen as our newest partner on the Greylock investing team.
Mor will focus on partnering with early-stage Israeli founders, particularly in cybersecurity and enterprise AI. Mor will work out of Greylock’s San Francisco Bay Area offices during 2025 and will then move back to Tel Aviv.
Mor spent the last six years working with founders across multiple early-stage companies. Most recently she was at Accel in London, where she invested in several Israel based startups including Cyera, Oasis and Finaloop. Mor previously managed the startup accelerator for the IDF 8200 alumni unit, where she worked with entrepreneurs helping across areas, including ideation, recruiting, customer introductions and fundraising.
Born and raised in Israel, Mor served in the IDF 8200 unit. She was part of a small group that worked closely with the commander, who founded the cybersecurity unit within 8200. Mor studied electrical engineering, computer science and statistics at Tel Aviv University, and worked at VMware and Strategy&.
When we first met Mor, we were struck by and drawn to her passion for working with founders and helping them succeed. She has a unique ability to build strong trust, coupled with a relentless drive in pursuit of excellence.
Israel is a core investment market for us at Greylock, and is currently our second most active geography outside of the SF Bay Area. We believe there is a strong secular opportunity to continue to build important category-defining highly valuable technology companies out of Israel. Greylock has a long track record of partnering with Israeli founders including 7AI, Apiiro, Cato Networks, Dazz, Imperva, Kodem Security, Palo Alto Networks, Upwind, and Wiz.
We’re excited to have Mor join our team as we continue to partner with the very best entrepreneurs out of Israel.
If you are a founder who is interested in connecting with Mor, please feel free to reach out at mchen@greylock.com or connect on LinkedIn.
